Last Words Before Sch starts....

Tomorrow shall be the day sch starts for me again. Sometimes just wondering about it makes me wonder if I shall have the confident to pick up the books and start mugging. Guess it won't be easy.. But before it really begins again.. just want to say something before the 3 years in front of me : I can do it!!!

I realised I quite lazy post everyday events. So I shall post interesting or eventful things i did in these few days:

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Book came out on the 21st of July, i managed to read finish it 2-3 days after. (I didn't really read the hardcopy but some things are better left unsaid. Shhh.. Hee~) With this I can finally say no more Harry Potter's books for me. It is not really a good read, decent thou. Basically, this is the last book in the series and ending wise still considered a good ending.Shall not post any book details in case spoilers are not welcome. Anyway, J.K Rowling should be pretty rich by now.. hahaha...

Crazy Rain






Went out with Kelv on Friday. Went IMM for breakfast and went Daiso and Challenger. Even though I didnt get anything, (trying to stop my rampage of getting things) realise sometimes things are cheaper at Challenger. Means I might go there more often. As the pic, we were in Kelv's car going to sim lim square looking for speakers. This is what it looks like in the car. OMG, practically cannot see anything. I have to peel my eyes open to see also in case of anything.

Sim Lim was sadded, idiot Sonic Gear people, practically nothing much of Sonic gear products at Sim Lim and me and kelv had to go to Funan. Well, guess I will be going more of Funan than sim lim also. Sim lim just isn't as good as it used to, funan seems better now. Haha.. kelv bought his A8X, single vacumn tube, good sound quality and costs only 280. Its QUITE good at this price and definitely worth it. Wonder why Sonic Gear never mass advertise also. Its not like the speaker is a 4 digit sum. Definitely still affordable by a lot of people. Even though i super tempted get a good speaker, Mum will simply kill me by nagging me nonstop. Haha..

Charlene's Birthday Bash

Went to Charlene's bday bash with the swiss peepz, supposed to start at 6.30 but somehow we all agree too early.. we went later.. met up with jh and mj at somerset and we went to NewUrbanMale to get a bag for charlene. We reach the Metz by 8. Charlene having a 'white theme' for her bday. Didnt really know what that means but only realise its because she the one wearing brown-black to make her the 'star' of the bash. Then jeff didn't know that and ended up the only one not wearing white base shirts. Then he kena left right up down for not reading properly. Haha..

The cake was cut at ard 10+, cake didn't really catch my attention until halfway the cake was cut:



As you can see, cake in the shape of a pink bear (Pooh?), poor guy was practically dissected. (Not to sound disgusting, but serious loh? Hands cut off, legs cut off, then eating from the top onwards. That's why some ppl say sometimes food decoration too nice, they bu se de to eat (cannot bear to eat the food) Haha...Anyway happy bday , Char!

Suzumiya Harihi No Gekisou

Kelv told me recently: 'i'm constantly surprised at how you manage to find stuff like this off the web' Haha apparently Kelv thinks I can find stuff if I want to, erm... partly true? Haha.. But mostly google does the job or some sites i randomly visits will have stuff that I might want. Recently found Hp and the deathly hallows, some economics video and text, Code geass ep 24 & 25, origami stuff and one more that i just found today:



Suzumiya Haruhi Live Concert. Well, I not exactly a huge fan of the anime, just that my anime songs have the songs, so kinda interested to watch it. Even now, i have not watch finished(since is a concert i tend to just listen skipping the visuals and multi task. haha) Most of the voice actors(seiyū) i am just surprised. Watching anime and to realise the voice actors most of them might be older than you are. This sort of career truly belong to the japanese- where the animes are popular. (Consider that a compliment) Haha.. Anyway, the only ones I watch are sung by Aya Hirano, 1 of the 2 of the cast i think that can make it in terms of looks. (Take it as i partly otaku whatever =p she just looks cute.)

Origami No Jutsu


Was testing the 'ancient art of folding' - Origami. And this is actually alot more difficult than I had think.


OK NO!!! i did not fold that, but just by folding (no cutting), 1 piece of paper is able to transformed to that. OMFG Q&%Q#%Q#+#Q^... Crazy people!!!

But that tempted me try one. Chocobo from Final Fantasy.

This actually is more difficult than it looks. Especially the legs. After struggling and almost exploding, I.... got a modified version ^^


well I skipped the legs portion. It got PRETTY complicated and I kind of give up. Too advanced techniques they are using for legs. So in the end I got a crippled Chocobo! ^^

*I salute origami experts now and I might not do such crazy stuff again.* >_<

Hot day hot day! Even though its already 20 years with this stupid weather... its still hot. Crap... Haha..

Went to get my media player and my earphones just now with Kelv(music QC tester for today hehe) And I did a test with what I bought back at home earlier... quite pleased with what I bought. I practically stormed in and out, guess forums are useful after all to get some information. Haha.. Got myself a 8gb Meizu M6 player and a Mylar XB earphones - Don't ask me what's that branding. I practically ONLY know the brands a few days ago. Meizu is from China, Mylar from Korea. Even though i was sceptical about the china player at 1st.. apparently is better than I expected. Even though I agree 100% that stuff they made are Ipod imitations, they are already planning to imitate IPHONE! That is like WTH, it just stormed off when I phone was just released and China is already trying to reproduce it. That is so WrOnG.. It's this sort of mentality that really will kill off the generation.
Why bother to think when we can just wait for others to come out and just ripped off them...
Totally wrong mentality.

Earphones wise at least I got a good pair, Kelv was asking me why not buy Sony, erm... now I think about it, I don't particularly have a reason la.. I only intend to go Jaben to try 1st, if it sux then I go get a pair of Sony. But at least its good la so I will give it a try to see how good it really is. Anyway earphones if can last few years already quite good, doesn't really matter so long as the quality is good. Oh, the place we went, Adelphi ( opposite Funan ). Audio stuff they sell, ABIT high quality.

Oh, I only REALISE today the queues for donuts at City Hall. I didn't really give a damn about crazy donuts queueing but I finally saw the queue today. OMG... it would be nice if you queuing to buy for someone else...for me to try I don't mind? ^^ Still, insane queues..

Just realise I have a lot of stuff I don't mind getting and decided to add to my reso/wishes list. Well, not all of them is a must have that i die die want though. Haha... I still have a budget constraint I need to consider. Hee...

Since sometime I went to look at IT stuff, so went down with Kelv earlier. Pretty cool and neat stuff if you ask me, I have the desire to own almost all different types of the gadget. Hahaha... Well I did get something though, a 2GB flashdrive, always uesful to get a small portable one. Planning to get something more in the near future. Maybe Sonic Gear Evo speakers? Tight Budget haha.. Cannot afford any Harman Kardon or anything similar. Current speakers just don't sound right... Might want to get a good mp3 player on the go also... Looking through the options for now first.. So gonna get nagged by mum... Bleahz =/

Oh getting heaty I guess, 2 people already commented my face condition got worse. Thanks for telling me, Jimmy and Kelv. Shit.. Must be the constant lag of sleep I got for waking up at 6.30am everyday and not having sufficient rest. Grrr... I must get sufficient sleep since I not working anymore.

FINALLY! I have waited 7 months just for this Friday. Finally out of DBS Contact Center! Haha...
Today was my last day of work and I decided to totally 'switch off'. Who cares whether I am having what stats when I won't be looking at them? Hehe... No more headset~ It feels totally good man..

Went out to Parkway Parade with Kiat, Angel, Shan, Jeremy, Chen Yee, Wei Jun, Steph, Jimmy and Wee Ming. A long time since I saw some of them, quite enjoyable and Wei Jun as usual with his food stunts. Haha.. Had sushi and sashimi at Sakuraya, quite fresh and generally quite good. Kiat practically skipped the place and went straight to eat durians. As for me who quite choosy when comes to eating, only went to tag along. Haha... What to do, me quite lazy eat a lot of stuff. Guess it all boils down to lazy ultimately. Lazy eat crabs and prawns or other shelled seafood, cuz don't want peel the shell. Lazy eat durian, cuz very messy after eating and seen too much of it when I was young. Haha.. I still have a lot this don't eat, that don't eat. Hehe..

Oh, did I mentioned it was Friday the 13th? Crap, I tasted the small little taste of it. I had almost half bag of grass jelly cin cao spilled over my side of the jeans and I had to practically blow dry it. The lucky thing was that not the whole jeans wet but only a small part of it, so it's still ok.

Hmm... hmmmm... Fine ok, I admit I was just careless.. =/

Went out to Westmall today to watch Harry Potter at the 9.45am timeslot. Met up with Yuci, Jinyao and William to watch it. 6 words: The movie was a total disappointment. The whole show was 138 mins long and consider quite short compare to other installments of HP movies and it was practically just a very short summary of the book rather than being a movie by itself. Ratings wise, overall out of 5 I would give only 2 maybe.

Had lunch after that and as much as I would wanna find a place to chit chat and bitch about life, I had to rush home to do up the eCr for my SIM. Basically, it was something that determines my lifestyle for this coming semester. Planning of timetables, what lecturers for the lessons and blah blah.. you get the whole idea. Anyway my timetable are as follows for a standard week:






As you can see, I am cramping everything to Tues to Thurs and i would need to wake up early on Tues and Thurs. Well not really too difficult for me, I would prefer studying mostly in the morning also. The worst day at the most would be Thursday, where I need to think of what I can do between 11.30am to 3.30pm before my next lesson. Still, I get my Mondays and Fridays off. Hehe.. Not that I am thinking about fun only now, but it does gives the feeling of a long weekend. =/

It has been since at least few months since I last blogged, so I decided to start a new one. Bitched too much useless stuff previously and I guess it's pretty much the time to start a new one. So here I am- uninstallhate.blogspot.com

Went to SIM orientation with Kiat yesterday, our orientation group had 20+ people and it was generally quite fun even though I still have to say it - The ice breaking games are lame. Added the orientation group list to MSN but wonder how many will turn out to be hi-bye friends though. Hmmm....

Met up with William at Westmall after that. Went to buy advance tix for Harry Potter and kind of slack there for awhile. He was getting some stationeries and a pencil case for his uni but Popular just fails pretty much as a bookstore now. I was psychoing him go Paragon Muji though.. haha maybe I will drag him there after I quit my job this coming Friday. Wanted go buy a crumpler pouch to go along with the bag i previously bought there. Need a compartment to slot my phone on the go.

Kind of quite pleased with what I got there. But it cost me slightly more though. Apparently Crumpler likes to name their bags. This particular one is called 'The Hoax' and is a limited edition , so it costs me 168 bucks which cost slightly 70 bucks more than the commonly seen one. Ouch.
Haha but crumpler bags are quite lasting so I guess once awhile spurging on myself is ok with me. Hehe..
